When you turn off your availability toggle, Yukser asks until when. Set the date, and you go live again automatically, no need to remember.
Why this matters
Being offline means no new orders. The most common situation: someone takes a short break, then forgets to turn it back on. Days pass with no work coming in, and the cause is just one button.
Four options
Once the toggle is off, you'll see the question "Until when?":
- Today, you go live again tonight.
- Tomorrow morning, you go live again at 06.00.
- Choose a date, you go live again at 06.00 on that date. You can set it up to 90 days ahead, which is handy for going home for the holidays or taking a long break.
- Not set, no return date. You turn it back on yourself.
During your break
On the Home screen you'll see the text "Going live automatically" with the date, so you always know when you're coming back. There are two buttons there:
- Go live now, cancel the break and start receiving orders again straight away.
- Change, shift the date if your plans change.
Choose Not set and the text changes to "You are not accepting work", with no date.
Orders already in progress
They continue as normal. A break only closes new orders, any work you've already accepted must be completed as usual, including if the completion date falls during your break.
I forgot I had a break scheduled
Open the Home screen. If you're on a break, the banner is always visible at the top. No banner means you're live.
Does taking a break hurt my ranking?
No. A break is not a rejection of orders. What lowers your ranking is declining or cancelling work you've already accepted, not choosing to go offline.
