If your tukang proposes extra work

Updated on 27 August 2026

Sometimes after a tukang sees the job in person, there turns out to be more than what you booked: a pipe that's also corroded, cables that need replacing, an extra AC unit. For this reason, a tukang can submit extra work through the app.

What happens

  1. The tukang sends a proposal: what needs doing and how much extra it will cost.
  2. You get a notification and can read it on the order page.
  3. You approve or decline.
  4. If you approve, you pay the difference in the app. Only then may the tukang carry out the work.

Nothing is paid without your approval

Without your approval, no money moves and the tukang may not charge you on the spot. If a tukang asks for cash for extra work, decline and report it through the order page.

If you decline

The original job continues as you booked it. Any proposal you don't respond to expires after 60 minutes.

The limits

Extra work cannot exceed Rp 1.000.000 and cannot be more than the price of the original order. If it really is much larger, that's a new job altogether and it's clearer to book it separately.

One order, one bill

Extra work is attached to the same order. So it stays as one order, one bill, and one review at the end.
