After you accept an order, you will be asked to set an estimated material cost.

How much should I enter?
Enter a realistic estimate covering pipes, cables, screws, and so on. The more accurate, the better. The customer must approve this figure before paying.
What if no materials are needed?
Select No materials needed. The customer will only pay the service fee.
Can I change it later?
Yes, as long as the customer has not started the payment process. Once they tap "Pay Now", the figure is locked and cannot be changed.
What if fewer materials are used than estimated?
The difference is automatically refunded to the customer's original payment method once the job is complete. You do not need to do anything; the system handles the calculation.
What if materials exceed the estimate?
If more is needed on the job, coordinate with the customer via chat first. The paid material estimate is the maximum amount held in escrow. Any extra difference is usually settled in cash on the spot by mutual agreement between both parties.
A fair estimate builds customer trust and increases your chances of repeat orders.
