How Yukser's escrow protects you

Updated on 27 August 2026

Yukser uses an escrow system to keep payments safe for both parties.

What is escrow?

When a customer pays, the money is not sent straight to the tukang. The funds are held by Yukser until the job is confirmed complete.

What does it protect?

  • Customers are protected if a tukang does not show up or the work is not up to standard. The Yukser team can mediate and arrange a refund.
  • Tukang are protected because they know the money is already in the system before they set off, so there is no need to worry about a customer disappearing without paying.

When does the tukang receive their money?

Once a job is closed and no complaints are raised within a set period, the funds are released automatically to the tukang's account.

What happens if there is a complaint?

The Yukser team reviews the case, coordinates with both parties, and decides how to split the funds based on evidence and history. The 7-day guarantee gives you time to report anything that does not seem right.

Escrow makes transactions between two strangers far safer.
