If your order includes a material budget, you can upload a photo of your receipt on the order page. The customer can see the photo, so they know what their material money was spent on.
Where to find it
Open the order and scroll to the Proof of work section. There you'll find the Proof of material purchase box.

This box appears as soon as you save the material budget. If you select No materials needed, the box does not appear at all.
How to upload
- Take a photo of the receipt using your phone's camera app.
- On the order page, tap + Add in the Proof of material purchase box.
- Select the receipt photo from your gallery.
- Wait a moment, the photo will appear straight away as a thumbnail.

You can upload more than one receipt. If you shopped at two stores, upload both.
Viewing or deleting a photo
Tap a thumbnail to view the receipt full size. There is a delete button in the top right corner if you uploaded the wrong one.

How long can you upload?
For as long as the order is still open. Once you tap Mark as complete and the order is closed, existing photos can still be viewed but you can no longer add or delete them.
Is it required?
No. But it is strongly recommended: the customer pays for materials upfront as a deposit, and the receipt proves exactly what you spent. This is what gives customers confidence and keeps them coming back.
How it relates to the final material cost
When closing the order you enter the actual material cost. Any difference from the deposit is automatically returned to the customer. The receipts you upload support that figure, if the customer asks, the evidence is already there.

Tips for photographing receipts
- Place the receipt on a flat surface rather than holding it so it curves.
- Make sure the total and shop name are clearly legible.
- Use good lighting, thermal receipts fade quickly, so photograph them as soon as possible after shopping.
