Getting started with Yukser

I was introduced to Yukser by a Duta

Updated on 27 August 2026

You signed up through a Duta's code

If you signed up as a tukang using a QR code or link from a Yukser Duta, you are connected to them. This means:

For you

  • You remain an independent freelancer. The Duta is not your supervisor, boss or agent. All orders, pricing and scheduling are still managed by you.
  • Your earnings stay intact. The Duta receives no cut from your money. Their share comes from Yukser's platform fee (a small fee that Yukser takes per job), not from your earnings.
  • Verification and KYC work the same as for any other tukang. The onboarding process remains standard: KTP, selfie, skills, work area.

For the Duta who referred you

  • Each time you complete a job on Yukser, the Duta who referred you receives a small share of the platform fee. The connection lasts 12 months from the date you registered, then ends automatically.
  • If a job is cancelled or refunded, their commission is automatically clawed back. You do not need to worry about this.

How is this different from "Refer another tukang"?

Tukang can also refer one another through the Refer another tukang programme, which gives a tukang-to-tukang commission bonus. The Duta programme is separate: a Duta is usually not a tukang themselves, but someone who helps Yukser grow.

You can also become a Duta

As well as working as a tukang, you can register separately as a Duta at [duta.yukser.com](https://duta.yukser.com) and refer others too.
